AI in 30 Minutes: A Practical Roadmap for Small Business
AI is quickly becoming part of everyday business, helping organizations improve marketing, customer service, operations, and overall productivity. In this 30-minute Lunch & Learn, adapted from a longer workshop, participants will receive a clear, practical introduction to how small businesses can begin using AI with greater confidence and purpose.
The session is built around four focus areas: AI Literacy, AI Tools, AI Work, and AI Innovation.
We will start with AI literacy by breaking down what generative AI is, where it adds value, and why it can sometimes produce inaccurate or misleading results. We will also touch on key ethical and business considerations to help participants approach AI ethically and responsibly.
Next, we will look at AI tools: what is available today, how to think about the growing range of options, and how to determine whether a business needs a specialized tool or a more flexible general-use platform.
From there, we will focus on practical application. Participants will learn what AI does well, where human judgment still matters most, and which everyday business tasks are best suited for AI support right now.
Finally, we will explore AI as a tool for innovation, using it to generate ideas, strengthen planning, improve problem-solving, and support research and decision-making.
Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of AI, a practical framework for evaluating it, and simple ways to begin applying it in their own business.
The session will be followed at 12:45pm with delicious taco bar buffet lunch provided by CAS at $15.95 per person. Join us to connect, collaborate, and build the future of your workforce.
