The Livingston County Chamber of Commerce invites local business leaders to join us for an important discussion about workforce readiness and the future of business education in our region.
As a participant in the Preparing Tomorrow's Workforce Initiative, supported by The Business Council of New York State, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and College Board, we are gathering employers to learn about the new AP Business Principles/Personal Finance course and credential. This innovative program was developed with business input to help students build foundational skills in finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, communication, collaboration, and decision-making—skills that employers consistently identify as critical for workplace success.
During this one-hour roundtable, Chamber members will:
- Learn about the AP Business Principles/Personal Finance credential and its workforce relevance.
- Discuss the skills local employers are seeking in emerging talent.
- Explore opportunities to support and recognize this credential as a valuable indicator of career readiness.
- Help strengthen the connection between education and workforce needs in Livingston County.
Your perspective as an employer is invaluable as we work together to prepare the next generation of talent.
