Registration is open for Camps at Genesee Country Village & Museum. From one day and overnight family adventures to week long Spring Break and Summer Camps, GCV&M offers immersive, hands on experiences in history, art, and nature for children, teens, and families.
Led by Museum educators, camps provide opportunities to explore the Historic Village, hike trails, create art, play games, and learn together in an engaging, outdoor setting.

Spend a winter day at the Nature Center exploring seasonal landscapes, playing games, crafting teacup bird feeders, and learning about local wildlife.

Spring Break Camps

Week long day camps filled with outdoor exploration, creative projects, science and history activities, games, and hands on fun. Camp themes and age groups vary by week.

Spring Break Camps include convenient lunch options, extended care from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and bus transportation from Rochester during the March 30 to April 3 session.
Summer Camps
Week long sessions run Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Campers can choose from History, Nature, and Creativity themed camps, with opportunities to dress in period clothing, explore ponds and trails, build skills, and bring imaginative worlds to life.

Family Overnights at the Museum
Enjoy a memorable overnight adventure at GCV&M designed for families to experience the Museum after hours. Bring a bagged dinner, enjoy family friendly tavern drinks and snacks, play historical games, create crafts, explore the Historic Village on a guided evening tour, and gather around a campfire to share stories. In the morning, enjoy breakfast before heading out on a scenic hike.

Celebrate spring with a night at the Museum featuring guided village tours, campfire stories, marshmallow roasting, breakfast, and a morning trail hike as the landscape comes to life.

Spend a slightly spooky fall night at the Museum with seasonal crafts, historical games, a guided evening village tour, campfire treats, breakfast, and a morning hike surrounded by autumn color.
GCV&M Members receive a 10% discount on all camp registrations. A limited time early bird discount is available for registrations received by April 17. Immunization records are required for all campers.
