We’re a fun outdoor store specializing in hiking, camping and backpacking gear with guided hikes and outdoor skill building classes. The Genesee Valley is overflowing with beautiful landscapes providing fantastic hiking, biking and paddling experiences. If you’re a person who would rather be hiking in Letchworth, camping at Stony Brook State Park, or backpacking in the Adirondacks, Trail Otter is your kind of store.
Need gear? We have backpacks, day packs, tents, hammocks, sleeping bags, hiking poles, dehydrated food, headlamps, fire starters, first aid kits, maps, books, binoculars, really cool socks and so much more.
Want to adventure with a guide? Our adventures include an experienced guide who will lead you through your experience and provide gear for your enjoyment and safety.
Need to learn or brush up on an outdoor skill? Our fun skill building classes allow you to learn in a safe environment and increase your confidence.
We can also create custom hikes, adventures and skill building classes for your school, company or community group.
