About Us
The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts is dedicated to the development and promotion of arts and culture in this beautiful region of western New York. GVCA, a not-for-profit organization, was incorporated in 1971 and designated Livingston County’s official arts organization in 1974. In 2008 through the generosity of Livingston County, GVCA expanded its current location at 4 Murray Hill Drive, adding the New Deal Gallery and Apartment One Gallery. Arts, culture, and movement classes and programming are held at GVCA.
