The Nature Up Close programs allow participants a more detailed study of a topic with comparison of hands-on specimens and/or various audio-visual aids and handouts. Programs are held on Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm and last for two hours. This spring, experience frogs and warblers by sight and sound, or become acquainted with the butterflies' world. These indoor programs are good introductions for upcoming outdoor walks listed with each description.
Waves of Warblers: All warblers recorded from Letchworth State Park (highlighting 25 nesting species) will be featured in a new warbler video. Natural history accounts will be summarized and will include detailed park distribution based on recent research. This is an excellent primer for the Warbler Walks.
