This event will be a chance for kids and teens to try some different foods in a relaxed, up-beat, low-pressure atmosphere with their peers! There will be various tasting tables set up throughout the dining room and children will have the chance to try something—or not. There will be no bribing, reinforcement, interventions, or tricks: just try it—or not. If they don’t like it, there will be waste cans and paper towels for tasting failures. Recipes and information for tasting successes will be available. Foods will be labeled and although ingredients and flavors may be different due to preparation, they won’t be hidden. There will be foods there that may contain allergans.
Food will be prepared and presented by the Chef, Chef Assistant, the Culinary Arts class & Mrs. Klingensmith’s students from the GVEP in Mt. Morris!
